1st Ecollab: Charlie Brown

Very rarely do you get Youtube-based collaborations so damn good that the views shoot up to a lovely 10k within 24 hours of uploading. (In comparison, this blog has taken just over a whole goddamn YEAR to reach the same amount of views…).

You can probably understand what it is that I’m trying to get at here. Engage TV, a new Youtube music channel, has had an incredibly successful first upload: a lovely little cover of Coldplay’s “Charlie Brown“, courtesy of Orla Gartland, Lauren Aquilina, Ebony Day, Kate McGill and Ally Rhodes – five stunning individual vocals whose magnificence is magnified ten-fold upon collaboration. Surely you can understand my excitement here!

Each of the lovely ladies featured in the video are independent fresh and upcoming stars of tomorrow. Altogether, they have clocked up over 200k subscribers and an absolutely astronomical 26 million video views. Now talk about success!

Unless you want to miss out on a wallop of new talent, I strongly advise you to check out their individual channels because, quite frankly, there are far too many talented vocalists out there that don’t receive the credit and praise that they deserve. Here are 5 of them with “Charlie Brown”, as produced by Tom Clarke and the team at Engage. Watch, listen, download the free link (SCORE!) and spread the word (:
